Every year since the inception of organization, members of the Shuqualakian Scholarship Foundation, also known as the Shuqualakian club, work tirelessly to plan for the Shuqualakian Scholarship Convention; this planning is discussed during a once a month meeting that goes over details regarding the trip, finances, and scholarships. Every year the Shuqualakian members and their families from across the country travel to meet in one city to celebrate the academic achievement of the scholarship recipients. This convention is held over a two day period, usually this convention is held on Friday and Saturday. On Friday there is a getting acquainted dinner, where different people from various cities, ages, and backgrounds connected to the Shuqualakian members get to know one another. Saturday is spent sight-seeing in the city where the convention is at, and later on that day the Shuqualakian dinner dance program occurs.
